The importance of THC percentage!

Much more often than not I notice consumers shopping solely on the THC percentage of a product. This may be necessary for some consumers. However, it is not for the majority. Wondering why? Lets take a different look at it. One example would be percentage levels of alcohol in beverages. Of course there may have been a time(s) to shop for liquor based solely on alcohol percentage. But again, the majority does not. At least not higher levels than average. And though there are many different types of beer, rum, gin, tequila, vodka, etc. There are copyright laws. Which then leads to shopping by brand. Each brand has a saw called secret recipe (terpene profile). For cannabis, this recipe may consist of many factors. The more prominent ones being cannabinoid (THC/CBD), terpene, & flavinoid content after processing.

Generally speaking, Indicas, or Broad Leaf Marijuana, typically do not require higher THC percentages. This is due to typically having more Myrcene content. Which allows THC to pass through the blood brain barrier easier. Sativas, or Narrow Leaf Marijuana, on the other hand typically do not have high levels of Mycerene. Therefore it would make sense to seek higher levels of THC, if seeking a more significant euphoric effect. Hybrids may go either way. Hence finding out the terpene profile, then THC or cannabinoid content, makes sense. Would you like to learn more? Request a session or inquire using the Contact tab for more information.
